Talking About this website

Hello, and welcome to my site!

On these pages you will find articles and videos that support my books & and other titles. This site has been completely redesigned, and was launched on October 20th, 2009 to coincide with the release of the CompTIA A+ Exam Cram (4th Edition).
I built this site to support the readers of my books. I hope you all benefit from it.

I welcome questions from you:

  • If you have questions about any of my books or other titles, feel free to start a new topic in the "Ask Dave" forum. *

  • If you have general questions, or any other comments, submit them via private message (PM) here. *
Generally, I answer questions and private messages during the morning, Monday through Friday. Please be patient, I'll try to get back to you ASAP!

This site is offered as a free service, and as such "bandwidth" is sometimes limited. Please be patient! Press F5 to refresh pages if it seems they are taking too long to display. Also, remember that videos may take up to a minute to load into your browser. In addition, make sure you are running at 1280x800 (widescreen) or 1024x768 (standard 4:3) resolution in order to fit the videos on your screen. Finally, the videos are meant for high speed Internet connections (Cable, DSL, FIOS, etc...), they don't fare very well on dial-up connections.

There are three different skins that you can choose from for this website. To change from one to another, go to the home page and scroll down; you will find a drop down menu to the right hand side that allows you to choose a different look for the website.

* Free registration is required to post or send private messages. All that is required is a valid e-mail address so that an activation e-mail can be automatically sent to you. Just click the link within the activation e-mail to activate your account. This should also automatically log you in to this site. For security purposes, e-mail addresses and any private messages I receive are kept strictly confidential.

My thanks to all of my loyal readers, students, and website members, old and new. Enjoy!
